How it works

Four steps between you and your neighbours.

Verification is the slow part, and it's the part that makes everything else worth having.

Tell us where you live

Enter your PIN code, then pick your apartment, gated community, colony or lane. If it isn't listed, you can create it — you'll become its first resident and we'll open it once 25 households verify.

Prove it, one of four ways

A postcard with a code (free, 3–5 days), a photo of your electricity bill or rent agreement (same day), an invite from a neighbour who's already verified (instant), or your RWA's resident list if they've onboarded the whole society.

Choose who hears you

Every post has a radius. A lost cat goes to your block. A tanker alert goes to the colony. A recommendation for a good dentist goes 2km, because that's how far people will travel for a good dentist.

Get on with it

Ask, answer, sell, warn, organise. The feed is quiet by default — you're notified for urgent alerts and replies to you, and nothing else unless you ask for it.

Post radius

Distance decides who sees it.

Most neighbourhood apps fail because everything reaches everyone. ZingBuddies makes you pick, and defaults to the smallest useful circle.

  • Block — your tower, wing or the eight houses around you
  • Colony — everyone inside your gate or your named layout
  • 2 km — the surrounding neighbourhoods, for services and civic issues
  • Ward — reserved for municipal complaints with co-signers

Choosing a radius

Example
Block

Someone's Activa is parked across my gate, KA-05 plate. Please move when you can.

Reaches 40 neighbours

Colony

Main gate motor is down. Use the side gate until evening.

Reaches 320 neighbours

Ward

Requesting a speed breaker near the school gate. 61 signatures so far.

Reaches 4,800 neighbours

For RWAs and apartment associations

Run the society without running a WhatsApp group.

If you're on the committee, ZingBuddies gives you the tools a group chat can never have. Free while your society is under 100 flats.

Notices that stay put

Pin a notice to the top of the colony feed with a read receipt count. No more "I never saw that message".

One-resident-one-vote polls

Lift replacement, painting contractor, gate timings. Verified addresses mean nobody votes twice.

Maintenance reminders

Send dues reminders to specific flats privately, instead of naming defaulters in a group of 300 people.

Complaint tracking

Residents raise a lift or plumbing issue, it gets a ticket, and everyone can see where it stands.

Staff directory

Security, housekeeping, plumber on call — one list every resident can reach without asking the secretary.

Facility booking

Clubhouse, terrace, badminton court. Book a slot, see what's taken, no double bookings.

Start with your own address.

Verify once, and your colony opens up the moment 25 neighbours do the same.
